Chris Sununu will continue to believe even after his friend,Nikki Haley, died

Adding a little bit of shade to the media when he runs for a multi-term state office: Mr. Sununu and his relationship with Ms. Haley

Mr. Sununu will leave office early next year and go back to work in the private sector. But he does not appear prepared for a total vanishing act.

In an interview with The New York Times, he said that he like the media, and was sandwiched in between an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press” and a Bloomberg interview. “I have my quiet criticisms on the media and I’ve gotten to see how they do it, what they do, how they work. And some things I’m impressed by. Some things I am not. I thought, hey, maybe I can add a little bit of shade to the media’s activities and enhance the game.

Republican strategist Mike Murphy says that, when he endorsed her, he took her from the Triple-A to the major-leagues. He will leave office as a successful multi-term governor. There will be a lot of New Hampshire offers. You know, they wanted him for Senate last time. They can always want him another time.”

In New Hampshire, where Mr. Trump leads the polls, Ms. Haley got a big moment with Mr. Sununu endorsing her. It gave the governor a taste of fame that he wouldn’t have seen if he ran himself.

“It’s like fantasy football,” said Thomas D. Rath, a former state attorney general and a longtime Republican strategist. I think part of him would prefer the bigger game, but he was realist enough to know it wouldn’t work. So this is probably the next best thing.”

The Journey of a MAGA America to the Promise of the Future of the Party: An Advisor to the Campaign and an Ambassador to the U.N. Special Representative Haley

An advisor to the campaign says that Trump has united the base and brought in new voters as well as expanding the party.

Their choice between former President Donald Trump and his former U.N. ambassador, Nikki Haley, will also send a big signal about their feelings on the future of the party.

The forces within the party have long been clamoring for a choice like this, said Alex Conant, who helped lead Senator Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign.

An identity crisis within the Republican party and a debate between populism and small-government conservatism have been thrown into focus by the tightening race.

The message that will be sent on Tuesday is that Trump has been chosen. He’s the one,” Rose predicted. “And beyond that, we have to prepare ourselves, whether we like it or not, for a MAGA America or a Biden America.”

A young casino dealer who was working at a Manchester bowling alley was bowling with his co-workers. Between turns, he described the way he views the conflict as being between what he calls the “MAGA idealism” of Trump and traditional conservative values of Haley.

Phil Palker says he’s one of those Americans. The 59-year-transportation worker, and former Coast Guard navigator, says Trump changed the party and he evolved with the former president.

“You know, I was pretty stagnant Republican,” he said. “But ever since Donald Trump started running in 2015, I think his message is revealing to who the party is.”
