The Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders will be open at 11AM
GameStop has said it will open online preorders for the Mario Kart World bundle at 11 am ET on April 24 and in-store availability will start from later today. Nintendo has announced the release date of the second-generation of Joy-Con controllers, which will be available on June 5. The new Joy-Con Pro controllers come with wrist straps and a set of two wheels, which can be used to play games like Mario Kart World. The controllers will last about 20 hours between charges, the same amount as the original Joy-Con.
A Maryland man was mistakenly sent to a Costa Rican prison
Abrego Garcia, a US citizen wrongly deported to El Salvador, has filed a suit against the Justice Department. He alleged that the government filed the case before a judge on April 14. He further said that they filed the case last week before South Dakota Governor Krisi Noem visited the El Salvadoran prison where he’s currently being held.
The first map of human brain cells is ground-breaking
Researchers have created the world’s first-ever map of mitochondrial DNA quality and quantity in human brains using a tool commonly used for woodworking. They divided a slice of frozen human brain from a 54-year-old donor into 703 tiny cubes. Each cube measured 33 3 millimetres, which is comparable to the size of the units that make up standard 3D images of the brain.
