Low Price Comparison of Google Pixel 6A and 7 Pro at Cyber Monday (WHIRE RECOMMENDS): The Case for a Wide Field of View

Google even made them brighter this generation. The Pixel 7 can reach 1,400 nits of peak brightness, while the 7 Pro can go up to 1,500 nits. That’s about a 25 percent increase over the Pixel 6 series, and it makes both phones some of the brightest you can buy. If you are in direct sunlight, everything will be easier to see on your screen.

During Cyber Monday, we saw a deal like this. If you do not need all the bells and whistles, you can get a great bargain on thePixel 6A (8/10.1, WIRED Recommends). We’re expecting a new successor to the 7A in the next three months.

Before it came up with its own display, it used to ship lackluster smartphone displays. When the Pixel series was just getting started, their screens just couldn’t compete with the best on the market. Nowadays, the Pixel can not only compete, but outclass phones in its price range thanks to how great their screens are.

I’d also like to point out that the selfie camera on the Pixel 7 Pro has been treated to a wider field of view so that you can fit more friends in the photo. It is great to see, even though I would have liked the Pixel 7 to have it.

The colors are a bit neutral this year. The Pixel 7 comes in Obsidian (pictured here), Snow, and Lemongrass. The new Hazel finish on thePixel 7 Pro is very popular among potential buyers.

The overall construction of both phones is very nice, with each device feeling very premium. The Pixel 7 is the easiest to carry of the two form factors, but I didn’t have any real issue carrying the 7 Pro. Just know that if you have smaller hands, the 7 Pro might be tougher to manage given its larger screen.

The buttons are nice and clicky, the camera bar is an amazing design feature, and the hole-punch cutout at the top of the screen is very discreet, although compared to the ‘Dynamic Island’ notch.

Noise Filtering, Wind, and Clear-Calling Feature for Google Pixel 7 and Direct My Call: A Comparison with Android Phones

With the Pixel 7, Google includes Clear Calling which can filter out background noise and wind to help make phone calls as clear as possible. I placed a lot of phone calls during my testing and each call was in a different setting. Some were walking down the windy streets of Ocean City, while others were taken at my kitchen table. All of them were great since I could hear the person I was speaking with clearly.

The other new calling feature is Direct My Call, which was available on last year’s Pixel 6. With the Pixel 7, it’s being upgraded with the ability to show you a company’s phone menu options before its machines present them to you audibly. That way, you can jump to the main reason you’re calling much quicker.

As cool as this feature is, I wasn’t able to test it as I couldn’t find a number that was participating in Direct My Call. That’s the thing about this feature — businesses need to make their answering machines compatible with Google Duplex (a.k.a. DirectMyCall can work, but it will be before software is available for phone calls. Right now, it’s not that widespread, but over time more businesses will surely jump on board.

The Google Pixel 7 Xperiment: an Upgrade to the Voice Memos Depth Depth and Detailed Macro Modes of Images

An upgrade to the voice memos department is happening to thePixel 7. Now, when you use the Recorder app, your phone will not only transcribe everything for you, but also label each speaker so you can reference it much easier later on. It works exceptionally well, to a point where it makes you wonder just how powerful Google’s machine learning software really is.

The main camera in each device is the same size as last year, with an upgrade in detail and sharpness. The Pixel 7 offers a bit of extra detail in each picture you take, which is compared to thePixel 6 which only offers a small amount. It’s great for any subject, object, or scene you focus on.

It’s more expensive, but this is the best upgrade pick of the lineup. The camera system includes a 10X optical zoom sensor that lets you snap wonderfully crisp photos of subjects far away. There is a built-in stylus on the nearly 6.8-inch screen. The battery lasts for a day and a half with average use.

The same goes for both of them. The new telephoto lens in the 7 Pro adds to theVersatility of thePixel. You can shoot 5x lossless zoom photos right off the bat, and like the main camera, you can use the middle 12-megapixels for 10x zoom. You can then zoom in all the way to 30x and get some extreme close-ups. At that time, photos tend to get a little more sentimental, but they are fine for social media.

Google also added a new macro mode which lets you get much closer to your subject than ever before. It takes the power of the ultra-wide lens and machine learning to make extra detail out of images. It’s a pleasure to use macro mode on the recent iPhone Pro models when you want to take more detailed pictures of an object.

Googgle Night Sight 7 and 7 Pro: The New Smartphones for Nighttime Photon and Microscopic Detection

Night Sight makes its return on the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, and it’s just as good as it’s ever been. ThePixel remains a true king in the nighttime photography game thanks to features like Astrophotography mode. Such clean photos of the moon like this are simply impossible to capture on other phones.

There are a few new software tricks in the camera app. The biggest one is Photo Unblur which can take any picture in your Google Photos library — even if it wasn’t taken on a Pixel smartphone — and add some crazy processing magic to remove things like motion blur or an out-of-focus issue. You have to use this feature to understand how good it is. I had forgotten how great some of the pictures were, but I was blown away by the shots that it was possible to unblur.

There’s also Cinematic Blur which adds a shallow depth of field effect to your video’s subject. It works just like Apple’s Cinematic mode, except for the option to shoot in 4K. In addition, Google improved its Real Tone image processing to better reflect the color of darker people’s skin in more lighting scenarios, and a new Accessibility feature allows blind users to line their face up with the viewfinder with voice commands to take a selfie.

The Day to Day Evolution of the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro: Is Your Smartphone Really Getting Hot, or Does It Get Bad? – A WIRED Review

The same goes for the Pixel 7, which saw its battery shrink from 4,600mAh in the Pixel 6 to 4,355mAh. I noticed that I was struggling to get through a full day. It was almost impossible, but the best I could have done was to watch it die.

In our battery test (which consists of continuous 4K video playback), both phones lasted the same 15-plus hours before conking out. The difference between generation and generation was more noticeable in day to day usage. These will be the phones you will be using throughout the day.

Speaking of which, Google didn’t increase the charging speed of either new Pixel phone. Today’s standards aren’t very fast and you are stuck with 30W wired charging. The only phones I’ve tested that charged faster than the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro are the ones that can charge up to 125W, such as the OnePlus 10T. There are some improvements that will be made with the Pixel 8.

I am not going to spend a lot of time here. Face Unlock on the Pixel 7 is pretty much a joke. After it was included on the P.A.’s the feature was dumped on the 5. But unlike the Pixel 4, the Pixel 7 doesn’t have a fancy array of sensors and IR lights to record your face data and make it impossible for anyone to unlock your phone. In fact, because it only uses the front-facing camera, I was able to hold up a selfie I took on my iPhone to the camera and unlock my Pixel.

I noticed that both the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro regularly got hot during my testing. I was just doing things like playing music in the background and texting my friend, neither of which was crazy with them. That’s never enough to make other phones in my arsenal warm up, especially not to the point where the Pixel 7 reached.

Things got even hotter when a couple of videos I recorded tried to upload to Google Photos over 5G. I kid you not, I went to dinner while they were uploading and they didn’t finish until the check came, so my Pixel 7 Pro was burning up pretty bad.

The lowest price we have seen for a phone is $299 for the Pixel6A, which WIRED Recommends. It is available at a variety of retailers, but it is a limited time deal so there is no telling when it will end. We’ve also found some killer discounts on other Google hardware, like the Pixel Buds Pro for $150 ($50 off) and the Nest Audio for $50 ($50 off). Read on further to see why we like these gadgets so much.

The Pixel 6 (9/10, WIRED Recommends) isn’t just a pretty-looking phone. With the very first custom chip from Google, it offers up great performance. This processor is powerful enough to run most tasks, while efficient at running features that have been pioneered by a company such as Google. That includes Magic Eraser, which lets you erase any unwanted objects in your photos with the tap of a finger, as well as Now Playing, which will tell you what song is playing on the lock screen before you ever have to ask. More of these features have been rounded up here.

This is one of the best values around. The cameras are impressive, the battery lasts for more than a day, and you get all the little features you’d find in a phone twice the price, like wireless charging, water resistance, and a premium build quality.

It still has an excellent system, but it relies on older hardware that is showing its age. You’ll find nothing better for the price. It will have three years of OS updates and five years of security updates.

Spectroscopy of Pixel Buds Pro and other Wireless earbud products at $50 off the O(ne)epsilon

You can get a one year subscription to WIRED for $5 and it’s $25 off. If you would like it, this includes unlimited access to WIRED.com and our print magazine. Subscriptions help fund the work we do every day.

The display is excellent, with a sharp, 6.1-inch AMOLED screen that’s bright enough to read in direct sunlight and offers deep blacks. This screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, so we suggest using a screen protector to keep it from getting scratched. There are accessory recommendations here.

The most expensive phones these days do not come with a jack for headphones. You can get a great deal on the excellent Pixel Buds Pro by avoiding that issue. These wireless earbuds offer the best bang for the buck, even at full price, and right now you can score them for $50 off.

We test products year-round and handpicked these deals. Products that are sold out or no longer discounted as of publishing will be crossed out. We’ll update this guide throughout Cyber Monday.

The GALAXY WATCH5 PRO: A large, highly comfortable, wireless earbud system for comparing electrocardiogram measurements with the Apple Watch

Step things up with the Pixel Buds Pro (9/10, WIRED Recommends), which are super comfortable wireless earbuds to wear, have even better sound (especially bass), and sit in a case that supports wireless charging. Battery life is a little longer here—seven hours—and the active noise canceling does a decent job of silencing the clatter of the outside world. There’s also a transparent mode to let ambient sounds in so you’re more aware of your surroundings.

If you’re looking for a gift that will impress your sweetheart, the best thing to do would be to purchase the GALAXY WATCH5 PRO. It’s as accurate as the Apple Watch in tracking health and fitness metrics such as SpO2 and heart rate. It takes electrocardiogram measurements (although that’s exclusive to Samsung phones) and has a GPX feature that allows you to download hiking routes to the watch. The watch is large so we recommend it for those with big wrists.

A wireless phone charger for Google Pixels and smart-home security cameras and thermostats: Top picks for black Friday, April 14 – 2022-1

Got a phone that’s a little bit different? Snag this wireless charger, which is rated to fast-charge Pixels without having to plug in a cable. It’s expensive, but has other neat tricks. It can automatically turn on Do Not Disturb and Bedtime modes on Pixel phones, which will silence notifications for uninterrupted sleep. You can have your screen turn into a digital photo frame or show smart-home controls, just like a smart display. When the sun comes up, it will try to mimic the glow of the sunrise to gently wake you up before the alarm goes off.

One of our top picks for security cameras is theNest Cam, if you want to stick to the Google Assistant. The battery will last about a month before needing a refill and it has a magnetic mounting plate. The quality of the images is good even when night vision is not on. A Nest Aware subscription adds some helpful features. There’s a floodlight version with a cost of $90 off and a corded version that costs $70.

The latest-generation Nest Thermostat can control your heating and central air, and it learns your patterns over time to intelligently adjust the temperature as needed. It can cut down on energy costs by turning your systems off when you’re not in your home while you’re gone so you can get your house temperature back to normal.

Looking for a gift for your partner – the Nest Hub Max, Google Audio, and a variety of other smart speakers and gadgets

The Chromecast has a full TV interface and physical remote, which is what other streaming sticks have. It’s one of the easiest streaming sticks (well, dongle really) to use, and we particularly like that you can add movies or TV shows to your watch list from Google search results and they’ll show up in the Chromecast’s interface. If your TV isn’t a 4K set and only has 1080p resolution, consider Google’s new HD version which is also on sale for $20 ($10 off).

The camera in the Nest Hub Max will let you use it for video calls on a number of platforms. The larger screen size here makes it great for the kitchen, where you can use it to follow along with recipes.

If you want to really enjoy your music, the cheapest smart speakers are not good, but you can try out a better speaker like the one from Google Audio. It’s a better sound than the Nest Mini and at this price it’s not much more expensive than one.

If your partner is not a fan of flowers or chocolate, there are plenty of other options to surprise them. But for those struggling to find the perfect alternative, we’ve got you covered. There are a lot of discounts on gift ideas that cover a wide range of interests, including photography, books, self-care, fitness and more. You should treat yourself.

Polaroid Instant Camera, Kindle, and Nook Glowlight: An E-Book Reader for the Low-Cost Folks

Polaroid’s instant camera comes with a companion app. It doesn’t offer the easiest user experience, but it does allow you to utilize features like Tripod Mode and Manual Mode and set a custom f-stop in Aperture Priority Mode. Polaroid’s signature features are vintage aesthetics and roll-out film.

The best instant Printer in our buying guide is the Instax SP-3 Mobile Printer from Fujifilm. It is easy to set up and use with the companion app on your phone. If you want to make sure your photos look great before hitting print, we recommend utilizing your own photo-editing app.

Clip the coupon code on the page to see the deal at checkout. It’s an excellent value and it’s not as nice as our favorites, Monster’s digital frame. The display is bright and provides excellent photo quality. It comes with support for Google Assistant and Alexa. It does have a limit of 4,000 photos, but that’s plenty of storage. This is the lowest price we’ve seen.

If you like not to shop on AMAZON, this is the best alternative ebook reader you can find. The Libra 2 has a responsive 7-inch E Ink screen, 32 megabytes of storage, physical page turn buttons, and support for headphones for audiobooks. It’s waterproof, which is ideal if you enjoy reading in the bath or by the pool.

The Kindle got a refresh late last year, adding a brighter and clearer display and USB-C charging to the most affordable e-reader in Amazon’s lineup. I happily pay for three months of Amazon’s unlimited version of its e-book product. This model is the second-best in our guide. It’s not as big as the others, but it’s cheaper. It lacks page-turning buttons, as well as a warm-toned backlight. If those features are important to you or the person you are giving a gift for, you may be able to get more cash for the Amazon Paperwhite which is on sale for $104.

The Nook Glowlight 4e is another solid ebook reader, and it comes with physical page-turn buttons, which is rare for this price. The bookstore offers a variety of cheap ebooks, all of which are $3 or less. Our only gripe is how frustrating it is to get a library book on this device, as you’ll have to go through Adobe Digital Editions.

Under a weighted blanket is the perfect place to cozy up. If you’re looking for a wide variety of weight options and sizes (including kid-specific ones), look no further than the Luna. We also love that it’s machine washable and comes in a bunch of nice designs and colors.

Enter code BEST35 to see the discount at checkout. This blanket is great for sleeping alone. It’s thin, so it’ll keep you cool throughout the night. It’s available in several weight options, including 10, 12, 15, 17, and 20 pounds.

Since Casper’s weighted blanket is made of cool cotton, we recommend it for those who tend to get hot when bundled up. You have the option of weighing 10, 15, or 20 pounds. Is it difficult to choose which one to get? The lighter option provides a comfortable squished feeling, while the heavier option has humans in it.

If your significant other has ever expressed interest in being swaddled like a baby, we recommend the Sleep Pod. The feel of a soft hug is mimicked with the stretchy material, unlike a Weighted blanket that uses weights. Do you want to have your feet out? You can get the Sleep Pod Move for $35 off. In addition to these discounts, Hug Sleep is offering a buy one, get one 50 percent off promotion.

The code FEEL is needed to see the discount. This blanket is made out of cool cotton, but it comes with a cover made of Yogibo’s well-known cotton-and-spandex blend. It’s soft, stretchy, and smooth. The cover of the blanket isn’t machine washed. We also recommend the Yogibo Weigh Mate, which is on sale for $53 ($4 off).

WH-1000XM (7/10, WIRED Recommendations) vs. OnePlus 10 Pro and ROG Phone 6: The Best Wireless Earbuds on the Market

If you want to block out the noise around you, Sony’s WH-1000XM4 (7/10, WIRED Recommends) are the best wireless earbuds on the market. These buds come with foam ear tips, as well as a companion app to adjust the noise levels you want to hear. They can pause the music and detect when you’re speaking. Sony’s buds dipped lower to $179 in December, but we still think this is a solid deal.

This deal is on the 256 GB model of the phone, handy if you often run out of storage. The OnePlus 10 Pro (7/10, WIRED Recommends) packs powerful hardware with a 120-Hz AMOLED screen, swift performance, and some of the quickest wired and wireless charging you’ll find in the US. Its cameras aren’t on par with the Pixel 7 or Galaxy S22, but it does take nice photos. It’s worth noting that it only packs sub-6 5G connectivity (no millimeter-wave here), and the T-Mobile version has an IP67 water-resistance rating while the unlocked version doesn’t. The 128 GHz model is discounted on Amazon for $109 off.

The best gaming phone we have is the ROG Phone 6. It has an massive 6.78-inch screen and 165-Hz refresh rate and has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip along with 12 gig of ram, so it’s good for playing games. It’s got a large battery that can keep you connected to the screen for hours. Did I mention the accessories that make gaming even more fun on a phone?

Price of the 11-inch iPad Pro: A Deal for a Father-in-Law Compatible Computer and a Pencil at the Beach

This is the cheapest price that we have seen on the newest 11-inch iPad Pro. The best models of Apple’s products are the Pro models. This iPad uses the same M2 chip that’s inside the new MacBook Air and is correspondingly powerful, and iPadOS has enough tricks up its sleeve to be sufficient as a laptop replacement. The 1-inch model is on sale for $350 off, while the 2-inch model is on sale for $200 off. Too expensive? Check out the M1-powered iPad Air from 2022. It’s not on sale but it will save you a bit of cash and still get the job done.

The Apple Pencil is one of the most popular iPad accessories. The previous version was hard to charge and store. It’s compatible with most version of the iPad lineup, including the 9th-gen iPad above, and it can be used for anything from drawing to taking notes.

The price of this handy chargers was lower than on Prime Day, so you can use the coupon to drop it even further. The little sphere is what the reviews editor swears by. Aside from the MagSafe iPhone charger, it also features three AC outlets, two USB-A ports, and two USB-C ports (one of which can charge a MacBook). This is a great present for your man if he can’t use a cable to save his life.

This sturdy dry bag is a budget-friendly gift for someone who likes the beach or the slopes. It’s compatible with all sorts of devices (there’s a full list on the product page). It will protect your phone from all of the elements. The clear front allows you to use your phone while in the pouch, and there is a lanyard that goes around your neck. Should you accidentally drop your phone in the drink, the air cushions will float it up to the surface.

The Best Forerunner 45 and Forspire 3: Affordable, Affordable, Low-Cost, Smart-Connected Garmin Watches for Running

Most people prefer the look of a traditional watch but still want smart-connection features, so this is our favorite Garmin. The entry-level watch has an analog face but has a lot of health and fitness features. It comes in attractive colors like Cocoa, Cool Mint, and Peach Gold.

For partners or family members who are dedicated runners, we recommend the Forerunner 45. Even though it’s an entry-level tracker, it comes with advanced features like satellite tracking to help determine your distance, pace, and stride length more precisely—making it easier to pinpoint where you need improvement. It comes with Incident Detection, which sends your real-time location to emergency contacts for peace of mind when running alone.

It’s a good deal on the Apple Watch Series 8 even though we’ve seen this price a few times. This is the top choice in our guide to the best Apple Watches. Check out our Best Apple Watch Accessories guide for additional recommendations.

The Inspire 3 is our favorite budget tracker. It has a sensor that tracks the steps and sleep. Notifications for incoming calls, texts, and more will be sent to you when it connects to your watch. In our testing, we experienced some issues with the tracking, but we think it’s a solid and affordable fitness tracker if you want to keep an eye on your metrics.

The Charge 5 is cheap, comfortable, and easy to use. In addition to the basics, like tracking step count and calories burned throughout the day, it packs advanced fitness features, such as onboard and connected GPS (so you can accurately track outdoor workouts), an SpO2 sensor to record blood oxygen levels throughout the night, an ECG app for heart monitoring, and more.

The discount is shown at Checkout after you click the coupon button. The Wear OS wrist accessory doesn’t have the best battery life and it feels a bit cheap, so you’ll probably have to charge it in the morning. If you are mainly focused on checking notifications and monitoring fitness, it is an affordable device that logs metrics. Wear OS 3 will also receive it in the future.

A Special Edition Percussive Massage Gun and Some of Its Implications for Squeezing and G-Spot and Clitoral Stimulation

Sportneer’s Percussive Massage Gun received an honorable mention in our Best Massage Guns roundup. If you only get six attachments, you’ll also get six intensity levels, though last two or three were too intense for us.

Click the coupon button on the page to see the discount at checkout. In our testing, the Lairlux proved to be a bit difficult to figure out in terms of placement. The attachment was just fine compared to other massage guns. But if you’re interested in one with digital controls that allow you to set an exact intensity level (this one goes from one to 20), it’s a solid affordable option.

With gentle vibrations and soft suction, we suggest the Sila if you’re looking for a slow build. It has eight quiet settings—the highest one being noticeably less intense than what you might be used to. The wide mouth focuses more on surrounding erogenous zones than similar sex toys out there, leading to a deeper and longer-lasting orgasm.

The Sona 2 Cruise is one of the best toys we’ve tested. It’s also our number one recommendation for those who want to try something new. The body fits perfectly in the hand, the buttons are intuitive, and it offers a variety of intensities that’ll suit almost any preference. With Lelo’s Cruise Control technology, it’ll increase intensity when it’s pressed hard against the body.

The G-spot and clitoris are stimulated by the Enigma. It has a clitoral stimulation arm that mimics the sensation of oral sex by using an air pulse mechanism. Meanwhile, the bigger, rounder end of the toy is home to the vibration motor. Its body is flexible, so it can be used one way or the other.

Lube is important! But squeezing a bottle until the cold goop squirts out isn’t arousing. The task is a lot simpler with the pulse dispensers. Plug it in, add lube, and hold your hand underneath the sensor to give it warmed lube. If you have dexterity issues or are having trouble with lube, it’s a great option. Our only grip is that you have to buy Pulse’s proprietary lube pods, which are a bit more expensive than the standard option.

Atlas: A Tropical Coffee Subscription Box for the Extremely Low-Scale, High-Performance Coffee Loading in Central America

Enter code FIFTY-OFF to see the discount at checkout. The word Quintal refers to the weight in which coffee beans are both bought and sold in South America—which makes sense for this service that works directly with growers and roasters in some of Central and South America’s most acclaimed coffee-growing regions. Since it ships straight from the origin within one to three days of roasting, your coffee is going to arrive as fresh as possible. It’s a great subscription for the coffee lover in your life.

Atlas is one of our favorite services, particularly because it brings you coffee from around the world. You can choose between light-to-medium roasts, medium-to-dark roasts, or both. In our experience, each arrived on time, was nicely packaged, and came with notes about the country of origin. Since you’re not a fan of beans, this coffee subscription is ideal for adventurous people. You’ll get your first bag free on February 14th.

If you are a tea drinker, this subscription box is perfect for you. Each box has four types of tea in it, with the option to choose between loose leaf tea or bags of tea. You will receive information about the proper way to steep tea. And if you don’t want to choose the specific flavors for your giftee, you can opt for a gift card for the number of boxes you’d like to send.

Enter code FEBFLASH to see the discount at checkout. This meal kit offers a variety of soups, noodle bowls, grain bowls, smoothies, and shots. It’s for the type of person that likes a very natural taste to their food. All meals are plant-based and free of GMOs and gluten. You can schedule deliveries at will, as often as you like. This deal applies to your first three boxes on plans that cost $100 or more.

Best Valentines Day Deals: Stanley Gear, 2K, 4K Streaming Devices, and The Best Valence Insights

This little companion is popular with us. It’s a great pick for cord-cutters who prefer to stream from their phone when it goes on sale. The 4K version is also on sale at $40 ($10 off). The best streaming devices guide has more about them.

We generally like Stanley gear. The price flip-flops between $15 and $25 on a regular basis. For gift recipients with an addiction to icy cold drinks, this stein might make a great gift. It has a two-can capacity and a big ol’ handle, and the insulation keeps drinks cold for up to five hours and chilled for up to 20.

Osprey: A Good Bag for Outdoor Adventures and a Valentine’s Day Gift for Your Ex-Membrane

The products from Osprey are what we like. The bag is sturdy and lightweight. It’s especially nice for hiking or quick day trips. (I use a similar bag while visiting garage sales and outdoor markets.) The bag has pockets that are handy and is made with recycled materials. Check out our Best Backpacks guide for additional picks.

The Fully Alani is an honorable mention in our Best Office Chairs guide only because it was a little pricier than our top pick and didn’t offer much more. If you’re looking to upgrade your seat without spending a fortune, this is a great option.

This isn’t a huge discount, but we love this kit, and if your partner loves a Bloody Mary brunch, they’ll appreciate it. Toma’s Bloody Mary mix is delicious, and this set comes with two of Haand’s Chemist Cups (they’re handcrafted in the US). There are other kits for more money that add plates and a cheese tray. Toma has a code WINTER10 for a 10 percent discount if you want the mix.

Enter code LOVE20 to see the discount at checkout. The mailable bouquets are beautiful and arrive intact if you are going the traditional route. It has classic Valentine’s Day bouquets like red roses, but I personally love the other options, like ones that add succulents, or even a dried bouquet of purple orchard grass and eucalyptus.

You can spend less on the original mini waffle maker that we like, but this one makes a heart-shaped breakfast—what better way to surprise your significant other than with Valentine’s Day–themed breakfast in bed? If you knew, waffle makers can be used more than once. Any batter, like eggs or even hashbrowns, will work.

A $10 Low Cost Countertop Garden with Herbs for a New-Standard Kitchen Aided Chef’s Knife

Not all of us can grow a garden outdoors. We attempted a different version of the countertop garden, and it was still easy to grow herbs. They may not be perfect specimens, but they’ll add a nice garnish to home-cooked meals. This is $10 less than we saw during Black Friday.

I’m aware that you’re thinking, “A knife?” How romantic …” But this is our favorite chef’s knife, and if your loved one is a budding cook, they’ll understand the sentiment. It stays sharp, and its nonstick finish is a lifesaver when you’re chopping up sticky foods like cilantro. If taken care of, it should last several years.

Buying a loved one appliance can be difficult, but a KitchenAid Stand Mixer is a coveted piece of equipment. This makes a great gift if your partner is into baking and cooking. During Black Friday we see it slightly cheaper, at $250, but this is still a good deal. This price can also be found at Best Buy.

Love you, hate me, or Wannabe: Best Valentine’s Day Deals on Wireless Power Stands and other Gifts for the Birds that Love

Of every odd gift on this list, an air purifier may be the least romantic. But what says “I love you” more than clean air for their precious lungs? (Maybe attach a heart-shaped balloon to it and add a box of their favorite candy to be safe.) The Bissell purifier is among our favorites. It looks good and can be controlled with a phone or an app.

Wingspan is a game that is fun for the birder spouses. You play as bird enthusiasts who want to attract new and exciting avians to your wildlife preserves. It’s fun to play together as a couple, but this game also works for just one person when you’re not around.

This gift also gives. Satechi is donating 10 percent of its sales from February 10 to February 17 to the Turkey earthquake relief fund, and you can get 20 percent off any product with the code DONATE. We like the Duo Wireless Charger Power Stand.

The TheraFace Pro: An Essential Cat Accessories for Window Sills, Shavers, and Bar-Balconies

The TheraFace Pro is an expensive tool, but we love it. It includes interchangeable heads for cleansing and massaging, as well as LED lights and microcurrents. Hot and cold attachments can be included for another $299. If your partner has been wanting to make their drawer look better, they may be surprised by this.

You may not be aware of the Theraface, but you’ve heard of the Theraguns. Therabody’s percussive massage devices are our favorite. It’s powerful enough to ease sore muscles, but it’s also among the quietest. The triangle handle allows most people to get to hard-to-reach areas like the back.

On the day after Valentine’s Day, shavers should be getting their hair done. This window seat is one of our favorite cat accessories. It fits on most window sills with adhesive strips (or you can screw it in if you’re not renting), and it’s sturdy enough to hold even big cats while they bask in the afternoon sun.

Sale Deals for the New MacBook Air: An Updating Intel M2 Processor for 512 Gev/c Gigabyte/ybma Memory Card

It’s either starting to look a little like spring or it’s still snowing in the middle of winter. Damn that groundhog. Either way, we have some deals for you. Those of you stuck in the throes of winter might like a new iPad or laptop to entertain you while the snow flies. For those of you in the warm climates, now is a good time to buy outdoor gear. Online retailers are clearing out last year’s stock and discounting this year’s items to lure customers in.

We have seen this deal come and go over the past few months, but we still think it is a great opportunity to save money on the latest MacBook Air. The new M2 chip is visible in this model as well as the refreshed display. It’s no MacBook Pro, which has more power and ports, but the Air is light, portable, and perfect for anyone working on the go.

There’s a chance to upgrade your Dell XPS 13 for just the price of the base model. We found the base model, which uses an Intel i5 chip, lacking in power. This deal has a more powerful i7 chip which gives you the power you need for more demanding tasks. You also receive a 512-gigabyte piece of equipment. This deal overcomes some of our concerns about the new XPS 13, including the fact that there aren’t any headphone jacks and only two USB-C ports.

The Shield was updated recently to include the new 4- terabyte model. You can take it for the same price as the 2-TB version at this time. It lacks the fingerprint reader of other models in the Shield lineup, but it has an IP65 rating, which means it’s fine in the rain and protected from dust and sand. It’s a good choice for life in your bag.

A Super Comfortable Seat for Camping, and the Merino Woollen Hat for Men’s and Women’s Wear at Backcountry.com

Only one color is on sale, but so long as you don’t mind the blue-brown theme, this chair is the coziest way to hang out around camp. It might not be very attractive to fold, but once you put everyone on it, it’s all worth it.

I liked this chair, but I found it hard to recommend it because of its full price. It’s not cheap, but it’s the best one I’ve found and packs down reasonablycompact if you want a very comfortable reclining camp chair.

This synthetic-filled puffy vest stuffs down like a feathered jacket and is impressively warm. There is a good selection on sale, but this deal does vary by size and price. The men’s size is on sale, though it isn’t quite as great as the women’s, and sizes are limited.

It makes for great beanies. It breathes better than synthetics and doesn’t itch. A ton of things merino are on sale right now at Backcountry.com, but I’m highlighting this beanie because everyone needs a nice warm hat. It’s 100 percent merino wool, unlike many other beanies for this price which are a blend of fibers.

The AeroPress: Why you need one? The simple foam pad is a good chair when you need it. An upgrade on Nikon’s Prostaff binoculars

If I had space I’d write a whole ode to the simple foam pad and why you need one. I know inflatable pads are small and light, but do they double as a chair at lunch? It’s light and accordion-folding make it easy to strap it to your pack whenever you need it, even though closed cell foam makes it dense.

You don’t have to be outdoors to use the AeroPress, but it does make great camp coffee. It is a simple and reliable method of making coffee wherever you are. If you’re just starting to upgrade your coffee experience, the AeroPress is an excellent option. It’s also more capable than most people realize—it can even brew something very close to espresso.

This is a good deal on Nikon’s entry-level Prostaff series binoculars. I like the size of 10×30 because it is high-powered and is light enough to be worn all day, while having a wide field of view. The guide contains more Binoculars options.

Aside from an assortment of deals on its own gear, Moment is currently offering 15 percent off Wandrd gear. This sale is also happening at the same place.

The Sling Bag: A Good Camera Bag, Good Audio, and a Great Camera for Cameras. A Winner’s Guide for Camera Spectators

The sling has been included in our guide as a runner-up for camera enthusiasts. The bag is comfortable, modular, and durable. If you want a camera, the 10-liter size is enough. Not sure what liters mean? We have an explainer.

The bag has its own story, we love it so much. The investment is worthwhile for folks seeking a roomy, durable bag that doesn’t skimp on style or function. Other sizes of the photo bundle are on sale. Importantly, they all include the camera cube and accessory straps.

We have seen the earbuds decrease in value, but they are still a good deal at $79. The headphones are as good if not better than what you would find on the market. There’s Apple’s basic AirPods.

This version is an awkward middle option if you want a bigger screen than the base model of S23 and you don’t want to spend the extra on the S23 Ultra. For $150 more than its little sibling, the S23+ gets you more storage and faster charging, not to mention the larger screen and slightly better battery life.
