The Earth was shaped by H2 atmospheres
On the origin of the Earth’s water and the demographics of the Gaia and Keperly planets. Insights from the first principles
It is a mystery that the water on Earth came from the ocean and that it is less dense than it should be because it is made of metallic iron. Young and colleagues show that interactions between a young planet and its atmosphere might explain both in one fell swoop and the state of the Earth’s mantle.
