The photocatalytic low- temperature defluorination of PFASs is conducted using a special light source
Scientists have shown that a light-driven catalyst can break carbon-fluorine bonds in per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at temperatures as low as 40C. Revised historical records make sense on global warming
A conceptual reconstruction set-up was done using a linear statistical model that relates incomplete spatial or SST patterns to the target metric. We obtained observation-based predictions from historical simulations of climate models for training the regression models. In this example, we still used all months of June in the full time period of 1850–2014 (partly extended to 2020).
Researchers get an update on the Human Cell Atlas, and it is remarkable
Researchers have created a large-scale Atlas of 1.1 million human neural organoid cells, which will be used to produce ‘organoids’ that allow scientists to study human diseases. It will include data on 36 single-cell data sets and 26 protocols to produce organoid models. It also includes data on developmental cell states linked to diseases in adult skeletons.
