The Good Burger reboot of All That and Thompson & Sinbad: A tale of two good guys in the same room, one at a time
The Good Burger sketch from All That, which starred both Thompson and Mitchell, became the basis of the original Good Burger. Linda Cardellini or Sinbad might be returning for the sequel but it doesn’t appear like anyone else in the original cast is.
Dexter Reed is down on his luck after another one of his inventions fails. Ed welcomed Dex back to Good Burger and gave him his old job back. With a new crew working at Good Burger, Dex devises a plan to get back on his feet but unfortunately puts the fate of Good Burger at risk once again.
As someone who’s a fan of the original Good Burger and All That, I have to say I’m excited about the reboot. I am not sure if it is something I will subscribe to Paramount Plus for, since the service is raising its prices soon, but I will wait to see the trailer until I make my decision.
In the opening of the show, Mitchell is in character as “Ed” and Thompson is in costume. That happens so that he gets in on the fun with a good burger costume and then the three will tell the audience about the sequel.

The plot from the new film involves Dexter Reed “down on his luck after another one of his inventions fails,” according to a press release for the project.
“Being a part of something so many generations of people have come to love has made me so proud and now to be back where it all began working on the sequel is surreal!,” he said. I can’t wait to show the fans what these characters have been up to since we last saw them.
