The dog was ‘fired-breathing demon’ and returned to the shelter
A Facebook Post by the Niagara SPCA: A fire-breathing demon who isn’t afraid to eat us, but can you really exploit them?
AfterRalphie was brought back to the shelter by the woman who adopted him, there was an update posted on Facebook explaining that he proved to be more than she could handle.
“What they actually meant was: Ralphie is a fire-breathing demon and will eat our dog, but hey, he’s only 26lbs,” reads a Facebook post from the Niagara SPCA.
“Everything belongs to him. If you dare test his ability to possess THE things, wrath will ensue,” they wrote at the time. “If you show a moment of weakness, prepare to be exploited.”
Dog lovers who aren’t intimidated by Ralphie’s formidable reputation can apply to adopt him with a letter of interest and “dog experience ‘resume,’” according to the Facebook post.
He is learning impulse control and working on his reactivity in his crate, according to a post by the shelter. He has great basic training skills which make it easier to train.
In addition to working on impulse control and reactivity, Ralphie is also engaging in agility training, according to the Facebook post. This will help create a bond of sorts.
