Cyber Monday Deals on Hybrid and All-Foam Mattresses and Sheets: A New Look at a Bestseller Bestsellers Guide
It is important to get a good night’s sleep. Some people can sleep on a plank of wood, and some of us need the perfect mattress, the crispest sheets perfectly tucked, and a nice sound machine crackling nearby. Luckily, there are Cyber Monday deals on all those things. The prices for the queen-size versions of mattresses and sheets are here.
We test various products year-round. Products that are sold out or no longer discounted as of publishing will be crossed out. We’ll make a new guide through Cyber Monday.
The rule to live by when buying mattresses is to never pay full price. No matter the time of year, there’s always a sale. Deals are not extravagant as a result of the artificially high list prices. Our Best Mattresses guide has more options and explanations of hybrid versus all-foam, but we have only the best deals.
Investing in a good mattress can help relieve back pain and improve your sleep quality. I have ever purchased a mattress before, the first being a Leesa Sapira hybrid. It gave me plenty of support, was soft enough, and felt way more luxurious than the hand-me-down mattresses of my youth. Former WIRED editor, Jeffrey Van Camp went as far as to say this was one of “the best mattresses on the market.”
While we like Casper’s Hybrid Mattress the best out of their selection, the Standard Mattress is a fine foam choice for less. We found it to be very easy to do in our tests, but we prefer the added support of coils to end the day. If you’re an all-foam fiend, this is definitely a good deal for you.
You know those jackets you can buy that are reversible? Well, that’s what this Layla is, except it’s a mattress. You can flip this two-sided foam mattress if you feel like a night’s sleep on a soft or firm surface. It’s a nice way to get a feel for both types without having to make a trip to the store. Or maybe you just prefer switching things up every now and then.
This mattress is ideal if you need pressure relief to sleep better at night. It feels supportive when you sink into its top layer of adaptive foam. There’s green ceramic gel foam to dissipate heat, and it manages to maintain its shape, so there won’t be a person-shaped outline the next night.

I’ve been sleeping on this mattress for a few months and find it comfy for my array of sleeping positions—I’m a side, stomach, diagonal, toss-and-turn sleeper. The bottom of the bed has no edge support, and you can really feel the coils in that area. When I made the bed, I only noticed it, and it isn’t an issue when sleeping. Though if you frequently sit at the bottom edge of the bed, then maybe skip this one.
Does the thought of spending over a grand on a bed keep you up at night? Well, this is a solid deal. The Nectar mattress is a good option for side sleepers. Its MSRP is $999 This is a real discount, as we usually see it decline to $750. It’s not a hybrid bed, but it’s comfortable enough, and doesn’t swallow you up. Adding the accessory on offer for just 99 would allow you to add two pillows, sheets and a mattress protector.
The Hatch: A Small Round Body for Baby and Infants that Sleeps with Gravity. Feature-Dependent Noise Machine and Timer
Gravity might be the best-known weighted blanket company, and this blanket is its first affordable version. It left nothing to be desired—I loved sleeping with it. It’s 15 pounds and the perfect size for a single person to enjoy. There are a few cover options as well. If you buy the blanket from Amazon, there’s an additional 10 percent off discount on the page.
The discount is applied at the checkout. Baloo’s throw is slightly smaller than Brooklinen’s, so it might be better for solo sleepers (or if your partner doesn’t like weighted blankets). It’s a pretty cotton that can be used to make linen duvet covers in some very beautiful colors. The blanket can also be dried.
I love the sound machine. It works great for babies but is great for anyone who would like a small machine or a portable device that isn’t too big. There are 11 sounds packed into this tiny round body, including a busy restaurant-like muffled chatter, and you can let it run continuously or on one of three timers (30, 60, or 90 minutes). The swirl can be used as a night light.
The discount is shown on the page if you click the coupon button. There is a version of the Hatch that can be used by anyone. There are child specific features, such as time-to-rest and time-to-rise lights. It’s good for early risers to not annoy their parents on their one and only day to sleep in, but it could also be helpful for adults who need reminding to put down their phones and take a second to get into sleep mode. Using the app, you can customize colors and cycle through sounds. The second-gen version uses Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth.

The Morphée Sleep Mat: Perfect for Children and Animals, and Best Black Friday Deals for Adults Until the Thirty-Five Years
I really like Morphée products. They’re thoughtfully made and screenless. You can get a basic sound machine for cheaper, but this one adds meditations too. You can fall into a deep sleep by listening to crackling fireplace sounds. The downside is you can only choose between playing for 8 or 20 minutes; I wish it played sounds continuously.
Get this one for kids. Not only is it adorable, but the meditations also take kids on journeys with an animal companion. I gave one to a friend whose daughter loves it, listening while toting it from room to room. The time constraints are similar to those of the adult version.
It is possible to track sleep habits but most of us prefer not to wear anything on our wrists to bed. The mat goes under your mattress and after a one-time calibration, you only have to think about falling into dreamland. It detects sounds like snoring, and alerts you of any breathing disturbances that may indicate sleep apnea. You can check your results when you wake up. In the last month the price went from $100 to $130 but before that it had been a hundred dollars.
This costs a nice chunk of change, but if you find that you’re constantly fighting with the temperature, it may be worth it. You will get a Chili sleep pad to fit on top of your mattress that connects to a water-pumping unit that maintains the temperature at between 55 and 115 degrees. WIRED writer Simon Hill said the pad wasn’t very comfortable, though, and the water unit is noisy. This is best saved for those who are desperate for the perfect sleep.
Body pillows are usually about the same length as you. With this Wiggle pillow, I can wrap it around me, cocooning between it with my head on the top. I sleep so well squeezing this. The fuzzy covers made by the brand are currently sold out. The cover makes it seem like a teddy bear, but I like the feeling of cooling off without it.

WIRED Review of Mattresses from Brooklinen (Paradishes for Downskirts) and Other Non-Stomachine (Sateen) Sheets
WIRED reviewer Haley Sprankle has been testing bedsheets, and these sateen ones from Brooklinen are a front-runner. She says they’ve got a buttery soft feel but don’t heat up during the night. They also come in pretty, muted colors, and even a few patterns like a stunning kaleidoscope.
The silk mask that Blissy wears is comfortable, cooling, and blocks out the light so I can sleep. It is also in 38. There are colors and patterns. I am between the weighted sleep mask and this one.
WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu likes Parachute’s crisp percale sheets, but the brand’s linen, sateen, and cotton options are also on sale. They don’t come in a set, however, so you’ll have to purchase a top sheet for $64 ($16 off) and a fitted sheet for $72 ($18 off) separately—there are shams for $63 ($16 off) if you need them. It might be a perk for you if you don’t sleep with a top sheet.
WIRED writer Jaina Grey likes Sijo’s cooling sheets. She says they keep you warm and not smothering you. Like the Parachute sheets above, you can choose to get just the fitted sheet, if you want.
The Helix Midnight Luxe and MINK: Two-Plumps, Two-Sided, and One-Year Subscription to WIRED
Special offer for Gear readers: Get a 1-Year Subscription to WIRED for $5 ($25 off). If you’d like, this includes unlimited access to WIRED.com. Subscriptions help fund the work we do every day.
All-foam beds are made up of many layers of thick foam. A few years back, these were the majority of bed-in-a-box mattresses and now both foam and hybrid mattresses come vacuum packed in a box that’s easier to get home with than a full bed on your car. It’s worth noting that most new mattresses don’t need to be paired with box springs; you just need a slatted base.
Enter code PDS25 to see the discount at checkout. The Helix Midnight Luxe is number one on our list of favorite mattresses, but it’s also one of the pricier models we’ve tested. The medium firmness of the mattress should suit most sleeping positions, but it’s also the best mattress we’ve tried. This deal includes two pillows.
Enter code PDS25 to see the discount at checkout. The Birch mattress has a nice bounce, and is made from natural latex and wool. It comes from Helix, the company behind our favorite mattress. Two pillows are included in this deal.
Code SAVE15 will show the discount at checkout. If your child needs a twin size bed, this is more affordable than others, and it’s made using certified organic cotton, wool, and latex. You can extend its life by going for the two-sided version for $125 more. You can learn more about it in our guide.
Code PRESDAY30 will show the discount at the checkout. A perfect example of the increasing price of mattresses is this deal. It was the last President’s Day. , Brooklyn Bedding’s deal was 25 percent off rather than this year’s 30, but the queen was discounted to $843. The website promises it will be $400 off, but this bed is usually more than $12000 at Walmart. Alas, it’s a good choice if you need a super-firm bed.
The Mint mattress has 3 inches of foam on top so you can feel supported and sink into it in a good way. Although it is somewhat cheaper fromNordstrom, full and queen sizes are not currently available.
Enter code SWEETDREAM15 to see the discount at checkout. The Keetsa is an honorable mention because it didn’t get a top spot in our guide. Matt Jancer was the reviewer who tested the mattress and found it fine for side sleeping. The top layer is made of recycled materials.
Purple’s mattresses are outfitted with its iconic Jell-O-ey feeling square grid for softness and support, and this one is slightly cheaper than last year. This price is available on Amazon. If you can hit the higher cost, it’s better for the hybrid version. It’s discounted to $1,999 ($400 off).
